When you know you're a nomad
So we were entertaining my niece, telling stories from our childhood. And I tell her that my brother had a hobo-themed birthday party when he was almost her age.
She said, "what's a hobo?"
I said, "it's like a vagabond."
She said, "what's a vagabond?"
I answered, "someone who doesn't have a home and moves around a lot like…"
And she said, "oh, like you?!"
When my sister added, "sort of, only dirtier."
